LOOKIN’ SEW GOOD
Grandma had the best legs in town. (That didn’t sound creepy or perverted, did it?)
I asked her one time how she kept them so trim and muscular. With nine kids, she saved money by making clothes on the old, treadle sewing machine.
Grandpa saved, and finally bought her an electric model. The first time the power failed, the old antique got lugged back down from the attic. “Besides,” grandma explained, “that wimpy little motor can’t handle leather or denim. How do you think I got the most gorgeous gams?”
Grandpa just grinned.
I think I need some brain bleach.

Nothing wrong with admiring gram’s legs.
It’s a GILF thing, if you ask me.

Cute story.

Sorry ’bout that. I’m awake now. (I think.)
We all have our fantasies….just, not with my Grandma you don’t. 😯

Another good pun on the word ‘sew’ – definitely a theme this week! As for Grandma’s legs, well, I couldn’t say that about my gran but I’m sure there are some Gran’s out there with legs to be admired! Nice story.

Dear Archon,
I suspect chasing after nine kids didn’t hurt those shapely gams either. 😉

Definitely! Raising nine kids is an extreme sport. The triathlon is wimpy, and you don’t have time for it, anyway. 😮

I enjoyed where you went with this one Archon. I different way to look at the non-electric machine. I’m sure many who used one had great gams. ha ha I think that a great word. Have a great day …

My mom used a treadle machine – although, not quite as ancient as the one pictured. She kept herself in good shape. I’m 72, and vaguely remember hearing/reading the word ‘gams.’ I’m re-reading a 1965 copy of a 1932 book. The day after composing this, I ran into ‘gams’ in it. 😮
