Rochelle turned the tables this week, by writing about exactly what’s in the picture. I’m going to turn them back again, by writing a tale about something that’s not even there.
ENQUIRING MINDS
“See, I told you. There he is, by the big tree. Take the shot.”
“What tree, the maple??”
“No, the big oak, by the dock, quick, he’s getting away. Take the shot, take the shot! ….The lens cap is still on??! You’re the photographer, I told you to have your fancy camera ready! …. Argh! He’s gone. We could have been rich and famous.”
“A clear picture of him hiding from humanity would be worth $20,000 to the tabloids, but the shot you missed, of Bigfoot fishing from someone’s porch chair in the lake, would have made us both millionaires.”

Thanx! This was one of my better constructions. I wanted readers to think it might be murder, or assassination. Even after learning of the camera, I hoped visitors thought it might be a reclusive celebrity.
As a teen, we ‘borrowed’ a couple of cabin porch chairs for various reasons. Only my twisted mind would visualize Bigfoot fishing from one. 😆

I have a mental (oh, too true) image of a family of Bigfoots – Bigfeet? – with Dad showing a photo. “This one followed me right into the forest, but I managed to lose him.” 😆

Nice one … ! But Bible-thumper sites? Why do you do this to yourself? I don’t believe in miracles. The idea that they might have got a bit more rational since the last time you looked is a no-no. There’s more chance of Trump revealing a liberal and tolerant side (though he has a sensitive side =petulant and huffy, and a touchy-feely side – the less said about that the better, but keep an eye on that cat of yours … 🙂

I don’t do it often. It can be interesting, educational, and amusing. The mental, moral and linguistic contortions are truly Olympic level. Occasionally I can’t resist making a comment and risking a good trolling. Usually, it’s just to learn what new excuses they’ve invented to nullify opposing opinions, so that I ‘Know Thy Enemy.’
A woman once cut me off, and splashed me and my motorcycle. Her lawyer husband defended the traffic charge in court. Instead of ’emergency avoidance procedure’, he continued to rail about my ‘panic move,’ making it seen as if I was the one at fault. Since then, I try to be ready for any unfounded accusations.
The cat is the one who keeps a (suspicious) eye on me. 😛
