MAMMON INC.
Buddy Bob was railing about politicians, and how they interfere with our lives, especially financially – laws, rulings, regulations, taxes, duties, levies, tariffs – control our every move, and milk us dry.
I told him that he was right – in a way – but it all started here. Politicians are just the mouthpiece, the head of the ventriloquist’s dummy. This is corporate America, the center of the real power behind the throne.
You don’t think Donald Trump got elected on his intellect and wit. Those aren’t telephone lines coming from those castles; they’re marionette strings, pulled by the puppet-masters. Speak Donald! Dance Donald!

This was absolutely wonderful! I loved this so much, especially since I follow U.S. political comedians so regularly. 😉

I try not to follow American politics too closely, from here in Canada, but it’s so pervasive. It’s the same all over. Hold your nose and vote. 😯

I agree with Kasturi… follow the comedians, not the politicians 😉

After the No Such Agency sieves those two words out of the same sentence, expect a visit from a couple of black Cadillac SUVs. Thanx for the visit, but please don’t mention my name during

Fun flash. It’s the impression we all get, that ‘someone’ is moving the strings… If it’s any consolation, it’s happening all over the world…

It’s no consolation. Here in Canada, we have a drama-instructor son with a famous father’s name, barely old enough to vote, much less run a country, saying Care-Bear things like, “The budget will balance itself from the heart out.” 😯

In a world gone mad, politician-wise, it’s hard to pick out the biggest fools. There’s certainly a top five – or would that be ten? – world leaders who are a disgrace to their countries. How many of them are puppets being manipulated is another, scary question.
(It’s a good story when you get the reader thinking!)

The Mine’s bigger than yours ones are the most dangerous. I had merely intended this as a bit of humor, but humor is often used to incite thinking. 😛
Thanx for the visit, and the lovely comment. 🙂

Why, thank you. I thought that I was just poking a little fun, as usual, and find that I’ve been politically astute. Do you suppose that there’s two minds inside this thick skull??! 😆

Money’s not important – unless you don’t have any. It does a lot of things….some of them good. 🙂

A great take on the prompt. It’s scary to think the corporations are controlling the politicians, but too easy to believe.

One hopes that the strings break, but then what will we get ?

What we’ve got, is already too highly strung. 😯 Calm, Donald, calm!
