LEFT HANGING
Ah, the joys of being a writer. At least I’ve identified my Flash Fiction.
Big deal! We’ve got your number,
I downloaded Rochelle’s photo.
Ho Hum! After only eight years of practice.
I have a title.
Life imitating art – again.
I have a theme.
Your therapist will be intrigued.
I have a bright, colorful story arc.
Which will not end in a pot of gold!
All I need now is a great finish, a fascinating denouement. Think, Archon!
We’re sorry! The inspiration that you are trying to reach is currently binge-watching The Expanse, on Amazon. Please try again later.

Go to Rochelle’s Addicted to Purple site and use her Wednesday photo as a prompt to write a complete 100 word story.
I can relate!

Dear Archon,
My muse is currently binge watching “The Gilmore Girls.” Viva Netflix.

I would comment but imagination’s microphone is on mute and motivation didn’t get out of bed yet so all comments have been suspended for the foreseeable future.

Stop back again, when COVID is a mere phantasm in the rearview mirror, and lay it on me. 😀

I’ve been going to bed at 7:00 p.m. this week and waking up at 2:30 a.m. to write my articles. It’s amazing how a change in a sleep schedule can inspire one’s creativity.

We all have our sleep/wake cycles. Those COVID unemployed/self-employed can set their own. My late-nite schedule matches my natural diurnal cycle, and helps me mind two Scottish terriers who also want to stay up (and chew things, without supervision) all night.
Your rise and fall schedule is even earlier than my ex-Army friend over in Burke. He and wife are now somewhere near Fort Leavenworth. They party till 9 – 9:30, and he’s up around 4:30 AM. You can get a lot accomplished while others sleep – and don’t bother you. 🙂

Yes, and my computer runs faster in those early hours.

I usually do most of my computer work at night, when those around me are asleep, and download speed is increased. I tend to forget that we suffered the first five years in this new subdivision, with dial-up modems, desperately waiting for high-speed fiber-optic cables to be laid. 😛

And mine’s watching Flack!

The Zits cartoon had a strip where the teenage boy had watched everything on Netflix. I think the wife is getting close. Flack doesn’t attract me, but she’s thinking about watching it.
I recently found that Bruce Willis had done three Die Hard-in-space, direct-to-video sci-fi movies. So far, I’ve only located one. 🙂

LOL.
If she watched Fleabag, she should enjoy this one.
He did? No way!! That’s hilarious. Happy hunting.

I am feeling more than vaguely called out by this. But come on, Season 4 Episode 10 was literally that awesome. What are we talking about again? Right. Interesting “story”… 😉

The story of my writing life. A tale told by a fool, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. My buddy Bill had a way with words that I wish I could match – or even come close to. 😳 🙂

funny stuff at least you can laugh about it.

It’s more efficient if I make fun of my own shortcomings – writing! I’m talking about writing, no matter what the wife says. It saves other people time and energy. 😉 😆

This is the fourth variation on that idea that I’ve done over the years. I note that Rochelle herself took inspiration from me, and did much the same thing this past week. 😳
