SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE
We started with a double bed. I don’t like the word “Obese.” Good eating made us corpulent, so we bought a Queen-sized.
We had a dog, which was not allowed on the bed, then we got two puppies who were allowed up, but are no longer puppies. Recently, a cold and lonely cat has added himself to the nightly pile.
There’s hardly room for my legs, and it’s almost impossible to roll over. Somebody move, before I fall out.

Happy families and their pets usually get taken over by their emotions.

You’re right! I love ’em all. I just don’t sleep well some nights. 😳

It’s funny how the older we get we more we need. I had a single bed as a teenager, a full size when newly married. A queen now, and am thinking about a king for the next purchase.

We get bigger. I can’t guarantee better. 😉
We’ve considered a king-size. It might solve the problem, but create another. The bed already stands out a foot from the wall because of a bookcase headboard, and the bedroom isn’t all that wide. 🙂

You can always crawl over it to get in…

You’re welcome. It’s more like bush-ell but your version is just find too. Thanks for asking.

Yours is the first time I’ve ever seen the name. I investigated its origins, but I’ve never heard anyone pronounce it. Probably somewhere, someone speaks it like a bushel of potatoes. I feel sorry for the likes of Brett Favre, and Derek Jeter in redneck America. 😯

Oh sure, I’ve heard my name pronounced a few ways. I’m happy whichever really.
those two names you mentioned could really be interpreted a lot of ways couldn’t they.

Just me and my pets. I should be thankful. There are two more cats in the clowder, but they’re a little more stand-offish. 🙂

Nowadays I’m a single bloke in a single bed and I don’t miss those sharing days at all! Nice one.
Here’s mine!

Thanx. 🙂
The wife and I often sleep in different shifts. She is frequently abed, and up, four hours before me. I only have to endure this for half a night. 😳

Aw… There’s plenty of room! But yeah, the human might need their own bed too. 😉
