Hey guys! Where you going with the Christmas tree?? Are we having a Canadian equivalent to Guy Fawkes Day – over in the park or something?
Nah, we’re taking it back to Costco, where we bought it.
Uh… Why?
‘Cause they have a money-back guarantee.
Aaannnnd??!
Well, it’s obviously defective.
How can a Christmas tree be defective – besides, it’s almost New Year.
I didn’t get the new PlayStation that I asked for!
Yeah, and I didn’t get the smart phone that I wanted.
And I didn’t get the snowboard I asked for.
We’ll use the refund to buy pizza. Wanna come?

Who can say no to pizza 🍕? Happy (almost) New Year, Archon.

Pizza will melt anyone’s heart – and the roof of your mouth. 😳
22 hours and counting…. Happy (almost) New Year to you too. Lets hope that 2022 is finally better than 2020, or 2021, but Omicron’s making no promises. 😀

Now there’s an idea! That made me laugh. The poor employees though…

The theme came from a recent article I read. Costco will take anything back – including Christmas trees. 😯 Poor employees, indeed! 🙂

In our town we recycle them by gifting them to goat farmers or wildlife rehabs.

If you put them by the roadside, our city will collect them, the two weeks after Christmas. They run them through a chipper, and use the result as mulch in their plantings, and offer it, free, to citizens. I have all the mulch I need. I want a pizza. 😉 😀

Free mulch? Sweet!
But yeah, nothing beats free pizza…..

I can’t say that this blogging thing is terribly productive, but the online fellowship is hardly a waste. More kitten memes will make 2022 a better year. 😀

Hahaha! Love it. Mind you, Ikea does have a return policy, though not a refund one…

The nearest IKEA is a good hour’s drive away. We’ve heard about the rat-maze layout. The wife has said, a couple of times, that she’d like to drive down one day, just to look, wander around, and have a Swedish meatball for lunch. We retired folk are easily entertained. 😉 😎

I was at Costco this past Wednesday. As I was leaving, I noticed the return line was much longer than the exiting line. No trees though.

They’re always like that, just after Christmas. People still try to pick good presents, but there’s a lot of Oh Well gifts. It’s why gift cards are becoming very popular. They’re always the right shape and color – although, I have heard some comments about size. There should have been another zero on this. 😳

I smiled, as I recalled at one time one was lucky to get a stocking with a orange and some nuts.
