It’s déjà vu all over again.
Haven’t we been down this street before?
Did you know that a goldfish has a three second attention span?
Did I mention that it’s déjà vu all over again?
I was gonna go home, but I changed my mind an’ turned around ‘cuz I met Bruce Springsteen at the bar. He was walkin’ in, when I was walkin’ out.
Our Glory Days of boozin’ are over, ‘cuz it makes us talk stoopid.

I quit drinking 25 years ago in 1994. Ozzy Osbourne was right when he said sobriety is boring most days.

I feel that those who rely on booze and/or drugs lack a great deal of imagination. I had 4 beers all last year, and I find life, my writing, the internet and WordPress, interesting and exciting. 😀

Good for you. You are interesting. Yes, I was kidding a bit there. I much prefer my sober life these days, although I don’t find it as exciting as it was in the past.

I don’t know them, but I’ve been submitting Flash Fictions here for about 5 years – hence #216. Anyone is welcome to join and submit – the more the merrier. There have been as many as 75 or 80 writers each week, but currently there’s only about 40. Just click on the Addicted to Purple link, and go to Rochelle’s site. I was just laughing with my daughter about the night that she was my designated driver, and she thought that I was fine…. and left early. 😳
